The Desert Welcomes You Home.
Motel Moriah. Route 9, Harlow County. Est. 1962.
A family place. Motel Moriah has been a waypoint for travelers crossing the Mojave for over sixty years. Under new family ownership, we've restored the property to its original character — quiet rooms, honest meals, and the kind of solitude you can only find this far from anywhere.
We're not for everyone. But if you've found us, you're probably exactly where you need to be.
A place to sleep. Nothing more, nothing less.
The Diner
The Moriah Diner serves breakfast and dinner seven days a week. Everything is made from scratch. Coffee is always on. We don't take reservations — just walk in and sit down.
The Grounds
Fourteen acres. A working fuel stop for long-haul trucks on Route 9. A small garage for basic repairs. If you break down out here, this is where you end up. Most people are glad they did.
The Rooms
6 room. Each one clean, private, and furnished simply. No televisions. No distractions. Just a bed, a window, and the desert outside it.
